GUIDELINES FOR COMPULSORY RESIDENT SPECIALIST POSTINGS FOR

POSTGRADUATES APPEARED EXAMINATION MAY 2015

(PG Degree/ Diploma Medical, Surgical and allied specialties)

The candidates must download the application form from the DME
website http://dme.tg.nic.in and get it attested by the Principal / Vice-Principal.
They must submit 3 copies of the attested application forms at the time of
counselling and must be physically present.

Counselling will be conducted only for post graduates who have appeared for Dr.
NTRUHS PG Examination held during April/May, 2015. Candidates who do not
come for the present Counselling or who come & do not opt or after opting do not
join their place of posting within the stipulated joining time will be eligible for
postings only at the next Counselling.
Candidates who attended counseling in 2014 and taken postings and have not
joined or discontinued after joining are not eligible for the present counselling.

Counselling will be conducted subject wise for Degree candidates only. (Passed
Candidates followed by PGs who did not clear the exam).
Merit list decided by marks scored in the PG theory examination (conducted by
Dr.NTR UHS, Vijayawada) will be the criteria for giving postings during Counselling.
In case more than one candidate is having the same marks, Date of Birth will be
taken into consideration. The older person shall get first preference. In case date of
birth is also the same, decision will be by toss of a coin.
 In case there are no available positions in one area, the Postgraduates shall be
posted to areas where ever they are available.
Those PGs who have not cleared the exams are also eligible for the postings and
will be given postings as per the merit list.

The candidates are instructed that they may have to stay an extra day if the
counselling is not completed on that particular day.
Candidates are requested to come to counselling with order of Dr. NTR.UHS PG
selection Copy.

Though the postings shall be as per counselling and the seat matrix displayed to a
large extent, they shall be changed by the concerned authorities as per the needs
of the hospitals under their control.

Those who have done PG as non-local candidates in Telangana state and want to
do Compulsory Government Service in Andhra Pradesh state have to apply with No
Objection Certificate (NOC) from Telangana DME and those who have done PG as
non-local candidates in Andhra Pradesh state and want to do Compulsory
Government Service in Telangana state have to apply with No Objection Certificate
(NOC) from Andhra Pradesh DME.

The conditions shall be applicable to all the candidates of all the PG courses of
Government Medical and Dental Colleges as well as Private, Minority Medical and
Dental Institutions as per G.O.Ms.No.107 dated 18.07.2013.

Seat Matrix and Merit list will be displayed shortly.

Counselling dates for Diploma Post Graduates will be announced shortly.

The candidates shall bring along with them the following:

a) Three application forms signed by respective Principals
b) Dr. NTR. UHS allotment order for PG postings
c) NOC from DME, AP if applicable is a must and should be produced at the time of
Counselling.
