INTRODUCTION

Objectives

The objective of this proposed system present concisely but thoroughly what you

plan to study, what skill you wish to learn, and what you plan to do with the knowledge and

skills you acquire. The objectives have been formulated as the working basis on completion

of the study.

General Objective. To develop an Online Membership and Payment System for

Angat Development Credit and Cooperative. The goal is to help the Cooperative to

minimize their works and to save time and effort.

Specific Objectives. The following are the specific objectives that the system must

accomplish.

These include the following:

1. To understand how the existing system operates;

2. To determine the problems encountered in the existing system;

3. To develop a software application that would:

a. Make an online system for membership and payment.

b. Provide a user registration forms.

c. Allow members to log in and manage their account.

d. Provide a members registration feature.

e. Provide a security feature.

f. Provide a log in history and activity log feature.

g. Provide a Loan application.

h. Notify members for loan approval.

i. Notify members for payment dealings.

j. Allow members to pay dues online.

k. Provide a disclosure statement.

l. Generate reports and receipts.

m. Manage members data and loan.

n. Produce variety of reports detailing which members are paid and unpaid,

member statuses, monthly dues, custom reports and more.

o. Back up database feature.

p. Provide a long-term record of payments to help for keeping records.

q. Provide security to assure the security of the members record and the

privacy of their information.

r. Print softcopies of all the records of members and employees and provide an

option to import files such as pictures, excel files etc.

4. To determine whether the proposed project technically, operationally, scheduled and

economically feasible to implement; and

5. To endow with an implementation plan for the proposed software/system.

Scope and Limitations

The Scope of the proposed system indicates what to be included in the study. While

the limitation consists of what the system is unable to do or perform.

Scope. The proposed system will focus on developing an online membership and

payment system that will enable the members to register online and the officers of the Angat

Development and Credit Cooperative will receive their registration. The members will allow

to pay payments online. It also includes applying loan applications for members and select

different loan services. It automatically computes the members fees such as membership

fee, savings and share capital. It also calculates loan payment dealings. It produces print outs

of computed payments and its breakdowns. Every finish transactions are stored in a

computer database that will be provided by the said system which will help the Angat

Development and Credit Cooperative in case of previous transactions or member details will

be needed to be retrieved. It can retrieve previous transaction that the Cooperative has been

made.

Limitations. The proposed system does not contain checking of the members

attendance every seminar. Moreover, the system cannot produce accounting reports. Also,

the rice trading type of loan is also not included.
