 Background
Silec Cable entered General Cable Group in
Dec 2005,22nd
Immediately after acquisition, decision was
made to carry out Prequalification Test as per
IEC 62067 in KEMA Laboratories on a 245 kV
cable sytem comprising General Cable Iberia
cable and Silec Cable Accessories
Installation started January 2006
PQ Test was successfully completed in 2007
