PROGRAMA ACOMPAÑANTES
16 Junio 2010: Visita a Montjuïc, sede de las principales instalaciones olímpicas, al Pueblo Español,
conjunto arquitectónico que reúne las principales características de la arquitectura de ciudades y
pueblos de la península. Traslado a la zona del Puerto Olímpico y almuerzo en un restaurante situado
en uno de los hoteles de más nueva construcción frente al mar.
17 Junio 2010: Visita al casco antiguo de la ciudad: Barrio Gótico y de la Ribera visitando la Catedral
de Barcelona y su claustro, Iglesia de Santa María, Plaza del Rey. Paseo por las Ramblas y visita al
Mercado de la Boqueria, uno de los mejores mercados de Europa donde descubrirá el porqué la cocina
mediterránea es internacionalmente conocida. Almuerzo en el “Cercle del Liceu” situado en el mismo
edificio del “Gran Teatro del Liceu”.
18 Junio 2010: Visita panorámica a algunas de las obras modernistas de Gaudí (Casa Milà, la Casa
Batlló, Sagrada Familia, etc.). Entrada y visita guiada al templo de la Sagrada Familia y al Parque Güell.
Regreso al centro de la ciudad y almuerzo en uno de los clubs privados de mayor tradición en Europa,
el “Círculo Ecuestre”.

June 16, 2010: Visit to Montjuïc, seat of the main Olympic facilities; the Pueblo Español, which was
conceived as a real “village” containing the main characteristics of all towns and villages in the
peninsula. Visit to the Olympic Port area and lunch at a restaurant in one of the newest hotels built next
to the sea.
June 17, 2010: Visit to the old historic part of the city (Barrio Gótico and the Ribera): the Barcelona
Cathedral and its cloister, Santa Maria del Mar Church, Plaza del Rey, etc. Walk down the Ramblas and
visit the Boqueria market, one of the best markets in Europe where you will discover why mediterranean
cooking is internationally known. Lunch at the “Cercle del Liceu”, located in the Gran Teatro del Liceu,
the opera house building of our city.
June 18, 2010: Panoramic visit to some of the modernist works of Gaudí (Casa Milà, Casa Batllo,
