Welcome to The First Makassar International Conference on Stem Cells and Regenerative
Medicine which will be held on May 28 th to 29th 2016 in Grand Clarion Hotel, Makassar, South
Sulawesi, Indonesia.

The conference will be held in 2 days; in which the first day we will have the international
conference and for the second day we will have public symposium and stem cells workshop.

We would like to deliver you the agendas of today event:

1. The first agenda would be plenary lecture, followed by
2. opening ceremony, and then
3. the international conference under 3 topics, which are hematopoietic stem cell, adipose
stem cell, and mesenchymal stem cell

PLENARY LECTURE
Now, we will move to the first agenda, the plenary lecture, which will be led by Mr. Prof. Dr.
Andi Asadul Islam, MD as the moderator, and for the speakers, we would have:

We would like to deliver you the agendas of the ceremony:
1. first, there will be a traditional dance performance,
2. and then, there will be a prayer, delivered by Prof. Dr. dr. M. Alimin Maidin, MPH,
3. after that, we will present to you the national anthem, Indonesia Raya,
4. then, there will be a speech from the head of committee of the conference,
5. after that, there will be a speech from the rector of Hasanuddin University,
6. then, there will be a speech from the governor of South Sulawesi, who will also officially
open the conference,
7. and finally, we will present to you Hasanuddin University hymn and traditional songs of
Makassar.

Now, we will begin the first agenda of the opening ceremony, which is traditional dance
performance, performed by ..............................................................................
The traditional dance that will be performed is Parimpungan Dance, which is widely known as 4
ethnics dance. This dance contains the cultures of 4 ethnics in South Sulawesi, which are
Makassar, Buginese, Toraja, and Mandar.

Now, we will move to the second agenda of the ceremony, which is a prayer that will be
delivered by Prof. Dr. dr. M. Alimin Maidin, MPH. Time is yours.
