Training Yards Downs House, Epsom
Downs House is believed to date back to the 1780s and has
had an illustrious racing history being the training yard for
Eclipse, a thoroughbred from which 80% of todays blood-
stock is believed to be descended.

Equine Planning Solutions were commissioned to redesign

the existing yard and worked with both the site owner and
Jockey Club Estates to produce a scheme which would al-
low this historic racing site to be brought back into everyday
use.
