JOINT COMMENTS ON JOINT STATEMENT OF ISSUES

Pursuant to the Administrative Law Judges Ruling Requesting Parties to Identify

Issues for Further Evidentiary Hearings issued June 9, 2017 (Ruling), California-
American Water Company, Coalition of Peninsula Businesses, City of Pacific Grove,
Monterey County Farm Bureau, Monterey Peninsula Regional Water Authority,
Monterey Peninsula Water Management District, and Salinas Valley Water Coalition,
submit these comments on the Joint Statement of Issues and Exhibit A thereto
(Statement of Issues) filed on June 30, 2017. The parties to the Statement of Issues
reserved their right to identify their respective objections, or agreements, to the issues
identified in Exhibit A in the comments to be filed on July 11, 2017. (Statement of
Issues, p. 2.)
Attached as Exhibit B is a table in which disputes to the appropriateness for
evidentiary hearing of some of the issues raised in Exhibit A are stated. The following
parties join in all or part of the disputes stated in this table: California-American Water
Company, Coalition of Peninsula Businesses, City of Pacific Grove, Monterey County
Farm Bureau, Monterey Peninsula Regional Water Authority, Monterey Peninsula Water
Management District, and Salinas Valley Water Coalition.
To the extent a party does not join in all of the disputes, its name and the issues it
