Amos and Boris Final Project

We are now EXPERTS on the story, Amos and Boris. This week, we have sequenced the
major events in the story and learned how to retell each major event.

HIGHLIGHT the major event you and

your group will be working on

*** Amos decides to build a boat. He packs his boat and sets sail.

*** Amos accidentally falls into the water while lying on the deck of his boat. He is stranded in
the middle of the ocean.

*** Boris finds Amos in the middle of the ocean and saves his life.

*** Boris gets hit by hurricane Yetta and is stranded on shore.

*** Amos finds Boris on shore and saves his life.

You and your group will choose ONE OF THE FOLLOWING options for retelling your assigned
scene in Amos and Boris. Make sure that your choice BEST fits the scene that you are
assigned. HIGHLIGHT WHAT YOU AND YOUR GROUP CHOOSE.

1. Create a play
2. Create a puppet show
3. Create an interview
After your group has their script written, their scenery made, and the
characters/puppets are ready to go, you and your group...
will be VIDEOTAPING your play, puppet show, OR interview on one of your group members
chromebooks using the application Clip Champ. When your group is finished videotaping, ONE
person will save the video to their google drive and post your groups video into Miss Cascianos
google classroom for everyone to watch.

Directions for saving/posting your groups video into Miss Cascianos google classroom
FIRST: Save to your google drive:
1. When you are finished taping your video click UPLOAD AND SHARE to google drive
2. Give your video a title this is your group number
3. Give your video a description group members names and the title of your main event
from Amos and Boris
4. Click PUBLISH
5. Select the folder you made called CLIP CHAMP VIDEOS

THEN: Post to Miss.Cascianos Classroom for everyone to watch:

1. Go into Miss Cascianos classroom
2. Click the + button and choose CREATE ANNOUNCEMENT
3. Click the ATTACH button (it looks like a paper clip)
4. Click on MY DRIVE
5. Click on your video

***Your video will be NO LONGER THAN FIVE MINUTES***

What to hand in:

ONE copy of their brainstorm/script packet.
ONE video posted into Miss Cascianos google classroom
