modern society is basically a society of tolerance. This is a society that is characterized by individual autonomy. Its proponents
anticipate a society where there is a respect for diversity both in law and in the habits of its citizen.

A post-modern society embraces all lifestyle decisions and is regarded as a society of tolerance. A post-modern society and the
fundamental principles of the gospel, are therefore regarded as intrinsically the same. The post-modernism arose from the
philosophies of Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel Friedrich Nietzsche, Martin Heidegger, and Jean-Paul Sartre. For Hegel and
Nietzsche, reality is in a pure state of becoming. This is the premise from where all things emanate from. Nietzsche argued that being
is permanency (that which does not change).

There is nothing permanent and reality is therefore ongoing and evolving. This means that there is no being but only becoming. All
are changing and Nietzsche even stated that all are changing and it is only language that provides the illusion of permanency or
being. That, it necessarily follows that if all are changing, then, it is impossible to know anything at all. Knowledge here means the
classical meaning of knowledge. Thus, if there is really no-thing outside the mind to comprehend, then, all the passes for knowledge
like science is just a human construct.

If knowledge depends upon being, then it is all an illusion II. Role of Religion in Civilization Religion, since the dawn of civilization,
has played an important role in society. It serves as a moral compass for people of different nationality and culture. Its very
definition of right and wrong is based on what orthodox religion dictates. But given its benefits, it too has its own downside. The
history of religion is made up of adversity between different faiths.

The crusades in the Medieval Ages were not only shrouded by political struggles but religious conflicts as well. The rise of religious
