Another really cool line that you can use over any tune with a major II-V type progression.
The part that stands out most would probably have to be this crazy little Dadd9 arpeggio
that I use over the Ab7 altered chord. If you dissect that scale you will find that all the notes
of Dadd9 are part of that scale and having a major arpeggio a flat 5 apart from another
major chord always has a very distinct character. Another explanation why that arpeggio
outlines the altered harmony so nicely is that D7(9) is the tritone substitute for Ab7#5.
