EMERGENCY UNLOCKING
EMERGENCY UNLOCKING
In the event of the electronic parking brake malfunctioning or the battery running
at, an emergency manual device can unlock the parking brake.
II
1. Immobilise the vehicle, with the engine running, by engaging rst gear (man-
ual gearbox), position P (automatic gearbox) or M or R (6-speed electronic
gearbox), then switch off the engine.
Note : if it is impossible to immobilise the vehicle, do not action the control and
urgently contact a CITRON dealer.
2. Fetch the vehicle blocks and the unlocking device (braided cable) from the
B toolbox (see Changing a wheel, paragraph on Tools).
3. Immobilise the vehicle by placing blocks at the front and at the rear of one of
the rear wheels.
4. Slide the front left-hand seat back as far as possible.
5. Lift up the oor plug B in the carpet under the seat.
6. Pierce the tab C on the tube D with the unlocking device.
7. Place the unlocking device in the tube D.
8. Turn the unlocking device clockwise. For safety reasons, it is essential
C to continue turning the device as far as it will go or until you hear a knocking
noise. The parking brake is released.
9. Remove the unlocking device and store it with the blocks in the toolbox.

D off then on again. If the reinitialisation of the parking brake proves impossible,
contact a CITRON dealer.
- The subsequent time required for application may be longer than during normal

plug replaced.
Following an emergency unlocking, immobilisation of the vehicle is no longer guaranteed once the manual
emergency unlocking has been deployed and the manual control does not allow the re-application of your park-
ing brake.
Take no action, either on control A, or stopping starting the engine while the unlocking device is engaged.
Take care not to allow moisture or dust in the proximity of the plug.

CHILD RESTRAINTS
The ISOFIX child seat recommended for your vehicle is the ISOFIX RMER Duo:
It is marketed in the CITRON network. It is equipped with a top belt and so it is approved as an ISOFIX universal

This ISOFIX child seat can also be installed in seat positions that are not equipped with ISOFIX anchoring points.
In this case, it is compulsory to secure it to the vehicle seat by means of the vehicle seat belt.
In the front passengers seat position, it is imperative to deactivate the front passengers airbag if you
are installing a rear-facing child seat there. Otherwise the child risks being killed or seriously injured

It is essential not to exceed a speed of 80 km/h (50 mph) on your spare wheel.
Have the original wheel repaired and retted as soon as possible.

CHANGING A WHEEL
With the affected road wheel now under the vehicle oor, the vehicle has reduced ground clearance,
so take extra care when reversing or driving on uneven surfaces, including kerbs.
Retrieval of the spare wheel and stowage of the affected road wheel are operations that should be done with the
