3. APPROACH PREPARATION

Radio Aids : ILS/VOR/OM/MM frequencies set
Minimums : DA/DH
Autobrakes : SET 3 or higher (Check Performance Inflight)
Landing : Automatic/Manual
Standby ILS : On
Sterile Cockpit : Coordinate with flight and Cabin Crew
Airport LVP : Review

4. ABNORMAL SITUATIONS

System failures or ASA changes:


Above 1000 ft HAT : Downgrade the Approach to CAT II/III FP/Manual.
Below 1000 ft HAT : GO AROUND.
Below AH : If NO AUTOLAND displayed = GO AROUND

5. REQUIRED RVR TRANSMISOMETERS

(a) ASA Indicator: PF indicator must be operative.

(b) EADI: Supplied by different Symbol Generators including attitude, radio altitude, ILS
deviation, DA(H) and AFDS status.

(c) AC Electrical Power Source: The APU may substitute the Left or Right Generator.

(d) Flight Director: Right FD must be operative.

(e) Windshield Wiper: Must be operative if any type of precipitation is reported at the airport.

(f) Engines: Continue the Approach only if engine fails in landing configuration, the new
DH is set , and new approach briefing completed above 1000 ft., or aircraft is
below AH, or Visual reference established.

(g) Engines: Continue Approach only if engine fails below the AH or visual references
established.
