Independent Reading Log
Every two months, you will select a book to read on your own. Each time you read, please record the title of what you
read, the author, the pages, and a 1-2 sentence summary of your reading. This will be due every two months!
Extra Credit: You may write a one page paper (double spaced, Times New Roman, 12pt font) on what you took away
from what you read. What did you like about it? What did you dislike? What questions came up during your reading? Did
this book remind you of anything else you have read before? The paper will be due with this reading log.
