1. Technical Understanding

We understand that our prestigious Client Heavy Mechanical Complex,

Taxila (HMC) has been selected as EPC Contractor for Naltar-III Hydropower Project
by Water and Power Department of Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Naltar-
III Hydropower project is located along Naltar Gah a right bank tributary of Hunza
River. It has installed capacity of 16 MW. The plant will be equipped with three
Pelton Turbines. The project principal structures including lateral intake, settling
basin, headrace, Forebay, spill canal, penstock, powerhouse and tailrace laid along
right bank of Naltar Gah. HMC has engaged NESPAK Consultants to undertake the
preparation of preliminary design report along with tender documents for the
selection of Civil as well as E&M Contractor. HMC is interested to hire the service of
another Engineering Consultant to review the design report of Civil Works, hydro
mechanical and electromechanical works furnished by NESPAK and perform design
optimization through value Engineering.

2. Scope of Services

We are pleased to submit our proposal for the review of Design Report by
NESPAK, perform project optimization and furnish the latest design report
accordingly.

Detailed site visit

Collection and analysis of any data required for the project optimization

Updated Hydrology & sedimentation

Hydraulic Design & Head Loss Calculations

Power & Energy Studies

Structural Design Criteria of Civil Structures

Submission of Tender Stage Drawings & Quantities
