You have decided on the MMI Navigation plus - thank you very much fo r
your confidence in us.
With your new Audi, you are receiving a veh icle w ith a state-of-the art system
that allows you t he change t he vehi cle's settings and oper ate t he electron ic
equipmen t using a Mu lt i Media Inte rface called the MMI.

We recommend that you read these Operating Instru ctions carefully so that you
quickly get to know all of the functions and possibili ti es that the MMI offers and
are able to make f ull use of t hem while driv ing.

Please note that t hese operat ing ins t ructions are a supplement to you r vehicle
Owner's Manual and should only be used in conjunct ion with your cur rent vehicle
Owner's Manual.

Should you have any further questions about the MMI in you r vehicle, please ask

There are severa l ways you can access the


wide range of MMIfunctions in your vehicle.
Youcan access all of the functions thro ugh
the MMIcontrol panel with its intuitive con-
trols. You can also comfortably access the
MMIfunctions that you use most frequently
through the mult ifunction steering wheel or
voice recognition system.

Traffic safety tips


Audi recommends only perfo rming important
functions such as enter ing a navigat ion desti-
nation when the vehicle is stationary. Always
remember to st op using the MMI if necessary
to ens ure your safety and t he safe ty of other
drivers.

A WARNING
- Driving requires your complete and undi-
vided attention. As the driver, you have
complete responsibility for safety in traf-
fic. Only use the MMIsystem when traf-
fic cond itions permit and always in a way
that allows you to maintain complete
control over your vehicle.
-Adjust the volume of the aud io system so
signals from outside the vehicle such as
police and fire sirens can be hea rd eas ily
at all times.
- Obey all applicable laws regarding use of
telephones in vehicles.
