Student Intern Absence Policy

Here is the procedure for reporting your absence from Thunderbird/Eagle University,
if the need arises. If you know in advance that you will you will be absent, please contact Mrs.
Kozlowski during the school day before 3:30 p.m. in person or via telephone. If you are
reporting an absence after 3:30 p.m. or on weekends please be sure to either call or text 716-
581-1907. Calls may go through voicemail, so please be sure to leave a detailed message
with your name, the date of absence, your start time and the reason for absence If
texting, please sure to wait for a response before assuming your text was received.

If calling on a school day in the morning, please call before 6:00 a.m. (please do
not call or text from 10:00 pm until 5:30 a.m.) 5:30 a.m. is not too early. Please be sure
to leave a detailed message. Calls made to Mrs. Kozlowski between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
on school days should be an exception and should be made as early as possible. If for any
reason you are unable to reach Mrs. Kozlowski, please call 716-736-2631, ext. 1192 and leave
a detailed message.

If the situation arises where you need to report an absence after 7:00 a.m., please call
the school at 716-736-2631, ext. 1192 and again be sure to state your name and the reason for
your absence.

Thank you for following these procedures when you are in need reporting your
absence. These will be effect until further notice. Please keep copies of this memo near your
telephones at home and in a secure place in school to have on hand for easy reference.
