History
MARIN has been developing time domain simulation software
for almost 30 years.
Specialized tools were developed for specific areas:
Coupled mooring analysis
Dynamic Positioning
Multiple-body lifting operations
Riser dynamics
Offloading operations
etc.
Developments in the offshore industry in the last decade
showed the need for a more integrated and flexible tool.

History
In 2006 MARIN started with the development of the new time
domain program aNySIM.
The program can simulate:
Coupled motion behavior
Multiple floating bodies
Deep and shallow water mooring systems
Hydrodynamic interactions
Dynamic Positioning systems
Jetty mooring arrangements including fenders
