SCIENCE on the board, and asks students to tell
related ideas as a brainstorm, using their
background knowledge. Teacher writes the words
as a word web.
Teacher and students classify the ideas into the
topics shown in the exercise; students draw and

Students have a first approach to science purpose or
subject matter; develop basic research skills of
observation using adjectives and formulating
questions and answers.
