II.B. GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF SYNOPSIS

Note: Final Project Report must contain the documents in order, 1. Title Page, 2. Declaration by Student,
3. Acknowledgments (if any), 4. Abstract, 5. Contents and Text, 6. Appendices (if any).

III. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF PROJECTS

IV. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDENTS

1. The students are advised to consider four criterias such as institute-wide standardization,
readability, conformance to ethical norms, and durability for an acceptable form of a
Project report.
2. The Submission of extended abstract, synopsis and final report must be thoroughly
checked for grammar errors. The students are advised to use grammarly softwares to
reduce language errors in the text.
3. The Submission of extended abstract, synopsis and final report must be thoroughly
checked for Plagiarism. Any evidence of plagiarism found in the project report will be
immediately reported to the Vice Chancellor with a written intimation to the concerned
student.(Refer 4(a) II-Project Assignments Page 20 of Students Hand Book-2017-18)
4. The title of a project should be a meaningful description of the work done by the
students.
5. The body of the synopsis must contain the main work done by the Students. No appendix
need to be given in the synopsis.
6. The final submission of project has to include a title page, declaration by the student to
the effect that he/she has not resorted to any unethical practice while carrying out the
project work and preparing the project report. (Refer Annexure I and Annexure II for
details).
7. The final copy of the project report has to contain all the modifications/corrections
suggested by the faculty.
8. Only the recent and the most important research papers and the students own research
papers, which are published in peer-reviewed journals and international conference
proceedings, should be cited and listed in the references.
9. If the candidate failed to submit the project on the notified date, then the penalties will be
levied. (Refer (6) II-Project Assignments, Page 21 of Students Hand Book-2017-18)
10. The synopsis and final project report submission must be done both in hard-copy and as
well as soft-copy.
