Governor ofthe Virsi Islands and Commander in Chief ofthe Virgin Islands ‘National Guar, pursuantto the authority granted to mein Title 23, Chapter 19, Virgin Islands Code, hereby “order the Virgin Islands National Guard ito Teritoial Active Military Service. I find that this Order is necessary to maintain the health, welfare, and safety of the people of the Virgin Islands inthe face of| ‘imminent danger or potential disaster fom HurtieaneTropical Storm Im. | direct, authorize, and order the Adjutant General ofthe Virgin Islands to mobilize such unit of the National Guard as are nacessry to maintain or restore public order, and to guarantee the safety of life land property. To include the maintenance of order and sceurity throughout the Tevtory, until such time ts she i ordered by me, verbally and/or in writing to stand down from such mobilization which shall be on the termination date ofthis Order a set forth below. During the performance ofthese duties, members of| the Virgin Islands Natioal Guard shall have the powers designated in Title 23, Sections 1521 and 1552, Virgin Islands Code andthe rights and protections granted by Title 23, Section 1517, 1523, 1524, 1525. 1583 and 1355, Virgin Islands Code. The Adjtant Generals directed pursuant o Tite 23, Section 1520, Virgin Islands Code tote whatever actions she considers necessary to earry out the assigned mission.
