General Requirements for Visa Processing to Iraq

Visas and Travel is authorized to the Embassy to submit visa applications with the documents
required to the Consular Section and to provide advice for the application for the processing of
this visa. This service is of medium and not of result. Visas and Travel is not affiliated with any
Government entity of that country.

Documents: All passengers must be in possession of a visa.

Original passport, must have a validity of at least 6 months and must have at least 2 free pages
without any stamp in order to paste the visa.

Two (2) original application forms (not copies), which must be completed and signed by each
applicant. You can get the Form FREE at our office or if you wish can be sent by email.

Color copy of the biographical data page of your passport.

Color copy of your identity document.

Two (2) photographs with the following specifications:

The size of the photo should be 2 cm. X 2 cm.

Preferably in color.

Recent photo (taken with a maximum of six months in advance).

White background.

Original International Certificate of Yellow Fever Vaccine

International medical insurance valid for the stay, issued by an insurance company that covers
all repatriation expenses, urgent medical care and urgent hospitalization for the period
indicated on the visa. VISAS Y VIAJES is an authorized distributor of ASSIST CARD. Ask about
different plans.

Proof of accommodation, hotel reservation or letter of invitation from someone guaranteeing

to provide accommodation to the applicant during their stay.

Air Ticketing or Route Printer.

Letter of invitation addressed to the Embassy of Iraq, Consular Section, specifying name and
address of reference in Iraq, guarantee of return of the applicant and duly authenticated by an
authority in Iraq. Invitation Letter Format

Direct approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Baghdad - Iraq is required.

The company that invites, must send to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the letter of Invitation to
request the approval of entry of the applicants. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs must issue a
Visa Authorization Letter or an Approval Number. When the Company has a Visa Authorization
Letter or the Approval Number, it must be sent to Visas and Travel along with the additional
documentation.

Proof that you have the financial resources to stay for the duration of your stay, bank
statements are required covering the 3 months prior to the visa application and presenting
sufficient resources to cover all expenses.

If you are working, a letter from the company where you work certifying how long you have
been working in the company, the start date, the use of your license and the date you will be
reinstated to work.

If the company pays for all expenses, attach a letter of responsibility, it must be printed on
letterhead and addressed to the Embassy of Iraq, Consular Section. Format Letter of

For tours, you must also present the itinerary and receipts for payment of the reservation.

For applicants under 18 years of age, authenticated copy of the birth record (folio of the Civil
Registry of Birth).

Format permission to leave the country for minors.

Photocopy of the passports of both parents.

Costs per Person

CONSULAR (Visa issuance fee and international operating expenses):

USD180 per tourist visa / One Ticket - It is usually valid for 3 months from the date of issue, for
a stay not exceeding 30 days.

This amount must be sent by bank transfer (add USD35 for bank charges). Cancel in Colombian
pesos to IATA exchange.

TRAMITES (Value for services of Visas and Travel): $ 180,000 Colombian Pesos

COURIER (Courier Courier Exportation and Import of documents): $ 250,000 Colombian Pesos

If you need to resend your passport outside Bogota, add $ 6,000 for the mail. If you pay in
pesos you can deposit them in cash into the account Bancolombia No. 05420954842 in the
name of Visas and Travel is Savings account.

To take into account

Your application will be sent to the Embassy, and is usually processed in approximately 15
business days, from the time the documents arrive to the Embassy when the Approval is
received.

A visa can not be granted unless it is directly approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
