Day 1

The first activity conducted in the research group was introduction and greetings between the
translators, the Fort Lewis Collage students and their Professor. The translators and the research
student then subdivided into groups according to their respective research objective. I was
handpicked to join the sober team on the first day.

The sober team arrived at the sober group in Boma Ngombe Arusha. An interview was conducted
towards the director and owner of the sober institution. They were interested on the history
director, and how he is able to manage the institute. The interview was in the basis of both the
personal and administration scope. The day was completed with a tour around the institute so as
to have a clear picture of the lifestyle of the admitted addicted people.

Day 2.

The research teams swiped the translators and hence the next day I was with the research team of
environmentalism, power and solar system. The research team arrived at Mobisol. This is an
organization that deal with the distribution of solar power. The researchers were interested on the
goals objective and vision of the entity, the areas which the entitys services were majorly
demanded(rural), their success stories as well as how they stay ahead of the competition.

Day 3
The third the research team visited Machame market. They were particularly interested with the
knowledge of the community members on the aspects of global warming, climate change and
environmental cleanness. Several interviews were conducted with the residence of Machame thats
both the sellers and buyers in the market. The researchers were also interested on the crops which
were negatively affected by the climate change causing the crops prices to increase drastically
example banana. General overview the marketer had little to no knowledge on the changes in the
weather or the reasons as to why it occurs.

Day 4.
The researchers were interested on the environmental aspects of the community. The researcher
visited a recycle center in Moshi, the regional dump and the Sewage. They are all located in Moshi.
In the recycle centers they were interested on how the solid rubbish and bottles were broken down
and who collects the rubbish, how and also how much each worker is paid and on what basis. The
researchers second voyage was to the regional dump. They were interested on the maintainace,
sanitation and the likeliness of diseases outbreak. The Sewage centers was also research on the
basis of the technology used to purify water, where the water is used and by who.

Day 5.

The last day of the research the researchers visited a dump in Boma ngombe. It was smaller. The
researchers were interested on the reasons as to why they burn the materials near the residents
area, the measures taken to reduce the poor waste disposals and means to ensure the health of the
residents.
