C O N T E S T
1) The contest is open to all GMA employees,
talents (off-cam and on-cam), and employees
of GMA subsidiaries. Contestants must register
at the Corporate Affairs and Communications
office from July 11 to 21, 2017.
2) Contestants will shoulder the cost of materials
including canvas, paint, brushes, etc. The size of
the canvas must be 1.5 feet x 2 feet. Contestants
can use any material/medium of their choice
(oil, acrylic, watercolor or mixed media on
canvas, special paper (mounted) or Illustration
board).
3) Contestants are not allowed to work on
their entries during office hours. They can
work in their offices during break time and
after office hours only or at home.
4) Finished paintings must be submitted
for display on or before September 29,
2017, 6pm, at the Corporate Affairs and
Communications office.
5) Work will be judged based on concept/
theme interpretation, creativity, and impact.
6) The judges decision is final. Contestants
must abide by the rules stated in the
competition guidelines.
7) GMA Network and subsidiaries employees
can vote for their favorite artwork from
October 2-6, 2017. Employees can only vote
once. A ballot box and voting forms will be
placed at the ground floor lobby (beside the
electronic billboard/Kapuso TV). The group

with the highest number of votes shall win
the Peoples Choice Award. Votes will be
tabulated by the organizers, together with a
representative from the Audit Department.
The Peoples Choice Award is separate from/
not part of the judging process.
8) Failure to comply with these guidelines will
automatically disqualify the contestant.
9) The entries will be displayed at the
mezzanine and the ground floor lobby from
October 2 to 6, 2017.
10) All paintings should remain anonymous
(artists must not sign their paintings) at least
until after the judging period.
11) Winners will be announced during the third
(3rd) General Assembly (date TBA). The winning
entries (Top 5) will be featured in the 2017
GMA Kapuso Foundation Christmas Cards,
which will be sold to the public. The artists will
not be paid royalty for the use of their artwork.
All proceeds from the sale of the cards will be
used to fund GMAKFs various projects.
12) Prizes for the contest:
