Following a strong handover from the US markets yesterday along with positive
S&P BSE IT 9950.60 47.27 0.48
Asian sentiments this morning, Nifty witnessed a gap up opening for the second
S&P BSE AUTO 24461.52 253.79 1.05 consecutive session and managed to hold the same. The index was seen re
testing the gap in early trade and then clocked a one sided move yet again
S&P BSE CG 18291.02 177.51 0.98 making it one of the strongest positive momentum in recent times. The
benchmark index closed just shy of its all time closing high of 10114.65 at

breaking its negative streak of the last four trading session with an over 2% rally.

placed at 8914 levels, indicating the bounce today could continue in the near

banks both ending with gains of 1.42% and 1.30% respectively.

Tracking the global markets, Asia ended another day in the positive territory with
Nikkei and Nifty leading the gains at 1.17% and 0.87% for the day. The
Advance / Decline European markets are seen continuing the sentiment going as CAC and DAX are
quoting around 0.60% up while FTSE is bucking the trend, trading lower at -
Indices Advances Declines 0.20% at the moment. Technically, Nifty has clocked a 120 point rally in the last
two sessions therefore, a slight correction cannot be ruled out. However, the
NIFTY 41 10 near term trend still remains positive. Going forward, the index has immediate
support placed at 10050-10060 and below that at 10000-10025 while resistance
NSE 889 597 comes in at 10137-10140 which is the all time high for the next couple of
sessions.
