BUT WHEN YOU GIVE TO THE NEEDY, DO NOT LET YOUR LEFT
HAND KNOW WHAT YOUR RIGHT HAND IS DOING, these are the
words that touched me the most from the reading. It reminds me that
generosity and kindness need not be announced to the world. It must be
innate and willingly given without letting others know for them to say that
you are a good person.

Gods message to us through these words is that we should be

generous but it should be honest generosity and not fake one. We must give
to the needy without expecting anything in return since after all, it is better
to give than to receive.

Unfortunately, nowadays, some people are just showing kindness

when eyes are looking at them. Yes, this is fake kindness. During campaign
period or even before that, other politicians but not all are being extra kind
and generous to people because they are expecting votes for the coming
elections with their names placed on certain gifts. For me, when you give,
you do not have to announce it. You give because you want to and not
simply because you need to just for you to have a good name. as for me, I
am more of a person for authenticity than pleasing people.

This week has been a tough week for me. Exam results came out and
not everything is good. But I still give it my all. Some classmates are
similarly situated. Instead of adding to the disappointments that we all feel,
I am doing my best to lighten up the situation by giving some encouraging
words to them that this too shall pass and that we will get through this.
