he McKenneys team completed
a complex HVAC and plumbing
systems installation at a new office
space with high-end finishes for an Atlanta
real estate investment firm.
THE CHALLENGE
There were many facets to the projectfrom
demolishing the spaces existing HVAC system
and furnishing the new system, to installing
all new plumbing fixtures for a break room,
restrooms and water heaters. The schedule
was tight and the space was crowded, with
our team jockeying for space with the other
trades at all times.
THE SOLUTION
The team worked around all the other
subcontractors and completed work quickly
to make room on the floor. McKenneys
project managers increased the crew size to
get much of the large ductwork and piping
in place earlyso when materials arrived
onsite, it was installed quickly. Additionally,
elegant diffusers were added to highlight
exposed ductwork. Throughout the project,
the team maintained the schedule and very
few change orders were submitted.
THE RESULTS
The firms new office space now has properly
functioning mechanical systems along with
stunning aesthetic appeal.
