COURSE SYNOPSIS : In this course, students will learn the art of public speaking which
involves learning effective techniques in preparing and delivering speeches. They will be
introduced to different types of speeches and will be given ample opportunity to practice and
demonstrate the skills that they learn in the course.

(Di dalam kursus ini, pelajar akan belajar seni pengucapan awam yang akan merangkumi
teknik-teknik berkesan dalam penyediaan dan penyampaian ucapan awam. Pelajar akan
diperkenalkan kepada berbagai jenis ucapan awam dan akan diberi peluang yang
secukupnya untuk berlatih dan mempamerkan kemahiran yang dipelajari dalam kursus ini.)

RATIONAL OF THE COURSE: The ability to present speeches well is a necessity in the
professional workplace. This course guides students through the process of preparing and
delivering various types of speeches which they may need in their future careers.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

2. Demonstrate ethical and effective public speaking skills (C3).

3. Organize speech taking into account its topic, purpose, audience, supporting ideas
and the beginning and end of the speech (C5).

4. Present a speech using appropriate language and delivery techniques (CS1).
