DESCRIBE A HISTORICAL BUILDING

I have a special interest in visiting historical sites in my country, and the place I Comment [DLPD1]: S thch c bit

find most fascinating is a very famous historical sites called Van Mieu Quoc Tu
Giam", which was constructed in the year 1070. Well, basically, what it means in Comment [DLPD2]: c xy dng nm

English is The Temple of Literature" and it is considered to be the 1st university

of our nation. The first thing that struck me is the fact that It is actually older than Comment [DLPD3]: Gy n tng mnh vi ti

Cambridge university itself which was built in 1209. But well, it is such a pity that
temple could not stand the test of time and ceased its operation as a university a Comment [DLPD4]: Khng chu c thi gian

And about the temple, it is located in the heart of Ha Noi and has a rectangular Comment [DLPD6]: Hnh ch nht

area. I cant seem to remember the size but to me it feels like 10 times the area of
football field. The place is divided in to 5 courtyards. Each courtyard contain a set Comment [DLPD7]: Ci sn nh

and exam halls for students. But nowadays, they are used to display relics and

So, Interestingly, we also we have a TV program for scholars to take part in

educational challenges and its name is Ring the golden bell.

And of course, there are numerous statues of soldiers and guards of all shapes and Comment [DLPD12]: a dng cc loi tng

sizes in every corner of the temple and they all look really tough. Comment [DLPD13]: Cng ci

To me this was an amazing experience, and If I had a chance I would definitely

come back and have another visit to this wonderful temple.
