No matter how long we live, life is still short.
After death, we go into eternity. The Lord has
made a way for us to be with Him forever.
A Real Heaven
Heaven is a real place. The Lord Jesus said in
John 14:2, I go to prepare a place for you.
A Real Hell
Christ also said that there is a real hell. Read
Luke 16:23-24 as the Lord Jesus speaks about a
man who died and went to hell.
Eternity Where?
Every human being has an appointment with
death. After death, will you be in heaven or in
hell? No question in life deserves as much
attention as this. It is the one issue that must be
settled.
1. All People Have Sinned
Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is
none righteous, no, not one.
No matter what our background is or what has
happened in our lives, all of us have the same
problem. The problem is that we are all sinners.
We are born with a sin nature. Our sin brings a
high price.
The Bible says that the wages of sin is death
(Romans 6:23). This means death and hell. It
means separation from God forever.
After our last breath here on earth, we
are going to live forever somewhere
2. Christ Offers Himself to All to Be Their
Saviour
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 gives us the
gospel, the Good News that Christ died for our sin,
was buried, and rose again according to the
Scriptures. Hebrews 2:9 says that Jesus Christ
tasted death for every man. Christ bled and died
for the sin debt of the whole world. This is good
news, but only if one hears it before he dies. This
is the one vital thing in life.
John 3:16 says that God gave His
virgin and lived a sinless life. In His earthly
ministry, He went about doing nothing but
good.
On the cross He cried, My God, my
God, why hast thou forsaken me? He
became sin for us (2 Corinthians 5:21).
Christ was buried and rose from the
dead. Because of His resurrection, we have
hope. He said, I am the resurrection, and
the life: he that believeth in me, though he
were dead, yet shall he live: And
whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall
never die (John 11:25-26)
Christ freely offered Himself. He gave
His life for us.
3. All People Come Into Gods Family
the Same Way
Every one comes to God the same
way. Romans 3:26 teaches that when we
come to Christ and trust Him as our
Saviour, God declares that we are justified.
This means to be regarded just as if we
were never sinners.
When someone asks God to forgive his
sin and trusts Christ alone for his souls
salvation, God forgives his sin and gives
him the perfect record of Jesus Christ. God
gave His Son for you. Will you trust Him
as your Saviour today?
