goals/questions finding some background information of the American
revolution
notes
researching some facts and key point of the topics that I already chose
research background information about the American revolution
My role : What is it? When it happened? How it related to the world?
The American Revolutionary War or the U.S. War of Independence. This
conflict arose from growing tensions between residents of Great Britains
13 North American colonies and the colonial government.
how it related : It also started a process of removing European
colonialism from the Americas. It pushed Britain into the colonisation of
Asia. It set a precedent for the independence of the rest of America.
Colonists in America wanted independence from England.
For ten years before the war actually started, there was a lot of tension
between England and the colonies.
During that time the British treated colonies in a different ways, both
across different regions and within the same colonies over time.
The British governments presence increasingly more apparent the years
leading to the revolution.

notes
first draft of story board (How does it look like)
Background information about Martin Luther? Who is he? Why is he
famous? How his action affect to the world today?
Martin Luther was a German monk who began the Protestant Reformation
in the 16th century.
November 10, 1483 to February 18, 1546
He try to change Christianity when he began the Protestant Reformation
He had come to believe that Christians are saved through faith and not
through their own efforts which turned him against many of the major
teachings of the Catholic Church.
He questioning of Catholic dogma leads to the Protestant Reformation.
The reformation changed the world ; The acknowledged principles of
religious freedom, liberty of conscience, the rule of law, separation of
powers and constitutionally limited Republics were unthinkable before the
Reformation. The Reformers fought for the principles which Scripture alone
is our final authority, Christ alone is the head of the Church and justification
is by Gods grace alone, on the basis of the finished work of Christ, received
by faith alone.

reflection
We start to draft a storyboard and try to connect the information together. The
first thing I have to do is planing the storys timeline but it is too hard to
connect and plan the storyboard. Hence, I gave an opinion to continue to our
group researching. I think if I know information deeper, it will help the group
for doing the storyboards timeline.

Date 7/9/17
goals/questions finish the draft of storyboard / continue on researching
(Martin Luther and rationalism)

notes
finish the draft of storyboard
assign the roles for making a video
continue searching about Martin Luther and rationalism
discussing in group about each topics (How all of these relate to each other)
Martin Luther can affected religion and culture. The most important thing is
Luther started the Protestant Reformation which is a movement that ended
the monolithic power.
Rationalism is a process of thinking which is created by Immanuel Kant
Rationalist philosophers believe that all knowledge can be understood
through a process of reasoning, without any external sources.
They dont believe that human beings can understand everything this way,
but that it is theoretically possible.
Rationalism emerged in late seventeenth-century for Europe, it is worth
nothing that for many intellectuals, and for Europeans in general, that time
saw significant amounts of social, cultural, and intellectual turmoil. On the
other hand, they saw enormously destructive conflicts, many of which
related to religious disagreement. (The Protestant challenge to Catholicism)

Baruch Spinoza, Gottfried Leibniz and Immanuel Kant.
Famous people opposed to this idea were David Hume and John Locke.
Rationalism also influenced natural law. To clarify, the natural law is a theory
that says there are laws given by nature, valid everywhere.
