HOW E-MAIL MARKETING WORKS

Email marketing is simple. All we do is simply collect the contact

information of people interested in the certain subject and then send
them helpful information about the subject and occasionally sell
them something.

THAT. IS. IT.

Here's an example, look at the graphic above and I'll explain how we
make money and keep people happy start to finish.

Lets imagine the smiley face is a person who is interested in camping

and we have a business that sells camping supplies. What we want is
this person to buy from our business multiple times and to be able to
sell to them whenever we want. The easiest way to accomplish this is
with email marketing.

CHAPTER 2 : GETTING EMAILS

WITH FREE TRAFFIC
So in my business I use paid traffic from big websites like Twitter, Facebook,
Youtube and Google. In fact I spend thousands of dollars a day adding
hundreds to thousands of emails to my email list because the ROI is just to
much to turn down.
For example: I pay about $3-$5 per lead and make $24 back over 6 months
every time like clock work.
Thats a nearly 6x ROI. That means if I spend around $2,000 a day on paid
traffic I make about $12,000 a day back.
BUT ... Lets back up. If you are new to this, buying traffic is probably not for you.
It takes an investment and you can lose money pretty easily.
So in this chapter I am going to show you how to get your first 2,000 emails
l 00% free. This means you can get people on your businesses email list for
FREE and sell to them. Since the customers are free its a guaranteed l000%
ROI!
Step l: Creating Our Opt In Page
Here's is a picture of an opt in page I have sent lOOs of thousands of visitors
through and has generated thousands of emails and customers. Pretty ugly
right? Don't worry ugly is good, it converts much higher than any pretty page
in most niches.
That being said, we need to create an opt in on our own website.

We will then create a opt in and place it on the page. This is a little

Once we have created the page all we need to do now is send targeted
people to it?

By the way targeted means they are likely to become a customer. For example
a person that is into Justin Bieber is not a targeted person for camping BUT a

lnstagram is one of the easiest platforms to get traffic off of but also to grow
an audience for your brand. That being said, collecting emails off the platform
is easy just follow these steps

l. Create your account and get some images relevant to your niche

In your account BIO link to your opt in with a message telling them to opt
in

3. Go find other BIG lnstagram pages in your niche with good follower
interaction

4. Follow the people commenting on posts on the these pages. Usually about
30% of them will follow you back

5. Post pictures on your lnstagram about your niche and every third picture
post a picture telling people to click the link in your description and opt in

6. POW that's it!

Using this simple tactics its completely realistic that with about 30-40
minutes of work a day you can add hundreds of people to your lnstagram and
get around 5-10 people a day to opt in

FACEBOOK
Facebook and to be more specific. Facebook groups are another very easy
traffic source. In most niches there are Facebook groups ranging from
1.000-100.000 members. Outside of internet marketing these groups are also
fairly lax about promoting your brand as long as you do it in subtle ways.
Here's exactly how to get people off of Facebook and onto your email list for
free

l. Join Facebook groups relevant to your niche

2. Interact with the group and help a few people asking questions and join
conversations

3. After a few days when people ask questions. link them to your opt in {but
don't say its yours). Just say the "reward" for option in helped you a lot when
you had the same problem.

4. The result? Not only does the poster check out your opt in but the
thousands of people in the group do as well

5. Another way is to make blog post and videos on Youtube. Then at the end
of the posts or videos tell people to go to a link in the post or video that goes
to your opt in. THEN share these blog posts or videos in the group periodically

If you noticed about with very little work it is totally possible to generate
40-50 leads a day to our email list just by posting on these traffic source. This

WHAT TO SELL AND HOW TO SELL IT

Most people think getting traffic and selling is hard. I just proved to you that
getting traffic can be easy as pie. But what about selling stuff to that traffic?
This is actually even EASIER than getting the traffic.

PRODUCT ONE: FACEBOOK MEMBERSHIP

Before I get into this I want to point out one thing. The average American
makes about $45,000 a year. This about about 3,750 a month. Let's consider a
good bench mark for making a "full time" income from email marketing.

Now lets imagine we open up a recurring membership that costs $47 a

month. To hit this "full time" income goal we only need to convince 80 people
to sign. I'll say it again JUST 80 people.

Over the span of 2 months that is l .2ish people a day. So pretty much 1-2
yes's a day for a cheap product is all we need to be financially free.

SIDE NOTE:
I WANT TO BE TOTALLY HONEST IN THIS BOOK. THE TACTIC I AM SHARING
WITH YOU HERE IS FOR A BEGINNER. ONCE YOU GET THIS DOWN, I
WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU WORK ON EXPANDING THE BUSINESS,
MAKING A WEBSITE, AND tiEIIING INTO PAID TRAFFIC BECAUSE WE CAN
EASILY GO FOR WAY BIGGER GOALS THAN JUST $3,750 A MONTH. IF YOU

Now...let's get into the tactic itself. You may not know this but there are
thousands of Facebook groups that people pay monthly to be a part of and
you can make your own group in literally 5 minutes time. I will get into how to
make the group in a moment, but I want to lay out exactly what we will sell.

Here's an example below of a paid group for Source Wave. Check it out, over
4,000 members and we charged $47-$67 to be a part of the group (we now
charge $997 yearly}

Now, as your career progresses your time is going to become more and more
valuable and this method will not scale. However as a beginner when our sole
goal

is to create and income this is BY far the best way to reach a full time
income.

Let's imagine we are a personal trainer and we want to sell a Facebook group
membership that helps people stay fit. What we can do is after a person opts
into our email list we can send them to a video (like in the picture below}
selling them our $47 a month membership

Now in this membership what we can offer is personal coaching, videos, and
group help. Here's how we offer all this. (Again we can do this in any niche, I'm
just going to use fitness in this one}

CHAPTER 3: SCALING TO $10,000 A MONTH

Before we get going I want to acknowledge something. With the info above you
literally have everything you need to start an email business and get it to a full
time income. If you need more detail or want to see it done "over the shoulder" be
sure to attend our daily live stream HERE though. That being said, there is nothing
stopping you from using free traffic and getting this to $4kish a month.
In fact, there is really nothing stopping you from scaling this to $1Ok a month
either. We already broken down that $3,750 a month is JUST 80 members in your
membership. To get to $1Ok there are a few things we can do.
#1: Just do 2 monthly JV webinars a month on TOP of your membership. If each
webinar only does $3,000 in commission then you now are at $1Ok a month
consistently.
#2: Even without webinars all we need to do to bring in a recurring $1Ok a month
is get 212 people in our membership. Over a 3 month period this is not too
challenging to do. We just need to keep working hard on our free traffic.

BUT WHAT IF I TOLD YOU THERE WAS A WAY TO CET TO $10K A MONTH BY THE END OF
THE WEEK? HOW? SIMPLE. PAID TRAFFIC AND LTV. I KNOW BOTH OF THESE ARE
FOREIGN TO YOU SO LET ME EXPLAIN HOW MY BUSINESS WORKS.

At Source Wave I track everything our customers do. Where they go, what they
buy, etc. More importantly, with this data I am able to average out exactly how
much they spend on average over a period of time. This is called "long term value"
or LTV for short.
With this data I know for a FACT that every lead that comes into the business on
average spends around $24 over 6 months. This has been proven across l OOs of
thousands of leads that have come into the business.
Now here's the kicker: It only costs me about $3-$5 to buy a lead off Youtube or
Facebook if I am using paid traffic. To make this clearer lets assume Facebook
charges me $2 per click. If 50% of people who view my opt in page opt in that
means it will cost me $4 to get an opt in off Facebook...
Which is great because I am making $24 back from the $4 opt in. At this point all I
need to do to scale my business to $1Ok a month {or $600,000 a month like it is
now) is buy as many leads for less than my LTV ($24) as I possibly can.
Let me put this in perspective. Every day I get at least 500 leads. Those 500 leads
cost me around $2000. However I make $24 a pop from each of those 500 leads.
The result: every day I am pulling in around at LEAST $12,000 in annual income
and only spending $2,000.

Don't get me wrong. Free traffic is great, but it's a lot of work and hard to scale
because you can only get so much of it. With paid traffic you can get as much as
you want whenever you want and if you are making an ROI it means you can
make as much money as you want whenever you want.

acquire them, making $1 Ok+ is just a matter of spending more on Facebook.
