Arthurs Power Source

By Martin Jeffrey

Does a mineral-rich area in Wales hold the key to an unlimited, free power source? A retired scientist claimed in the
1970s he had found the key to solving the Earths fuel problems, only to be silenced by the Ministry of Defense and
disappear from the public eye.
I noticed Arthurs story in the Fortean Times Archive books, a compendium of past issues full of amazing stories that
you may not have heard before.
While reading issue 16 of Fortean Times, I stumbled on the story of Arthur Adams and his amazing find the ultimate
power source.
7th April 1976, Arthur Adams is a retired ultra-sonic engineer and radiologist who previously worked on Concord
(which makes him now about 91 years old) from Ipswich.
Arthurs hobby was prospecting and he had been testing a new detector that he had designed in the mineral rich area
of Mawddach Estuary, North Wales. Here he discovered a strange metal object which he believes could provide
endless supplies of electricity. In an interview with the Yorkshire Post, Arthur believed that the metal could transform
dramatically Britains energy resources.

This substance is a combination of natural elements in a hitherto undiscovered form and which could have taken
tens of thousands of years to discover scientifically.

Arthur says The energy source he has discovered is like a huge natural battery in the earth and it has nothing to
do with the fusion of zinc and copper.

Believe me he said earnestly this is big, very big indeed, it can produce a limitless supply of power it gives off
huge voltages and amps and it is self-regeneratingit shouldnt do, but then it does a lot of things it shouldnt
according to known scientific laws.
After testing of the metal, Arthur realized he could synthesize the metal.

You can connect pieces of the metal in a series and get as much power as you like. Believe me, this is very big
indeed. It can produce a limitless supply of power. It gives off huge voltages and amps, and is self-generating.

To protect his findings, Arthur tried to patent his find and a trade name but the Ministry of Defense warned him in
writing his find was covered by the Official Secrets Acts.

He received a letter from the MOD warning him under section 18 of the Official Secrets Act (i.e. publication of
inventions likely to be prejudicial to the defense of the realm) not to release the details of the components of the
substance nor its location.
I have analyzed it and I know what it is, but for the time being I have been ordered to keep the secret; said Arthur.
The Patent Office said that it is standard practice to refer all patents of defense interest to the MOD.

Scientists Deny Properties

A spokesman of the Institute of Geological Scientists, who allegedly know every mineral in the British Isles said to the
Yorkshire Post We have not discovered any minerals with these properties. If it is a substance unknown to science it
is extremely exciting but we doubt it.
As one mineralogist said: It is highly unlikely that he has discovered a new substance but who knows? Stranger
things have happened
The Yorkshire Post article then published But Arthur Adams is unabashed. He is content to await a verdict of the
Government scientists.
And this is where Arthur, his metal and any further news of it disappears from view. The only information available on
the internet at the moment is an email from a man who claims to have known Arthur Adams

Subject: The Ultimate Power Source

As regards to the Rock, I have a small piece which was given to me by Len Adams about ten years ago, who I knew
as Len.

He used to call the rock Why, it was a bit of a joke, because when he demonstrated it, onlookers would always
shout out Why does it do it?
To come to the rock material or Why, it is a class of petro voltaic of which there seems to be quite a few.
I have found Bornite (copper iron sulfide) will give the same results.

Place the rock in dish with a few drops of water, wait for the rock to absorb some of the moisture and it will the act like
a battery.
The output power is QUITE LOW about 100 micro amps.
It will run a low inertia motor, it looks impressive but the motor will work on a lemon.
As far as I know Len did not run his TV or radio off the rock, which was media hype.

I was told the rock came more from the mid-Wales end of the country. That would make sense to me as the Bulith
Wells area is volcanic and the rock is full of sulfide.

If you would like any more info please let me know. I do research in free energy and have been doing work on the
anomalies of planar transistors.
Best Regards Dave Saltrese

Mysterymag.com now hopes that we can track down more information about Arthur Adams and his amazing power
source.

If you have further information about Arthur or his rock please get in touch, we would love to know! In the meantime,
Mysterymag.com will be appealing to the people of Ipswich if they know of his or his families whereabouts, and well
also contact Dave Saltrese.
