Permanent

loo?
Its marvellous what a difference a loo makes and it could
get better, but be quick and let council know your thoughts.
A grant is being applied for by Moorabool Shire Council
for a fully accessible mobile toilet or a toilet at a fixed
location.
The Marveloo model also caters for people with high care
needs, and if the mobile option is the choice, and the grant
successful, local events could be the big winner.
Moorabool Mayor David Edwards said it is important for
residents to fill out the online survey as soon as possible.
The survey is open until this Friday 6 October and
its important council hears your views to support our
application.
The survey can be found by putting the link, https://

A new borrowing policy is in place for Moorabool Shire

Council.
As part of Councils 2016/17 successful rate cap variation,
the Essential Services Commission noted the lack of a formal
borrowing/debt management policy and recommended
that Moorabool Shire develop a Borrowing Policy.
The policy in large part reflects Moorabool Shires current
borrowing practices, and aims to ensure compliance with
relevant standards, guidelines and best practice.
Councillors voted at the September 6 council meeting,
to adopt the policy, which will be available on councils
website.
