Prostitution Investigations:
Juvenile based prostitution sting for September 30th, 2017 Madison Lake,
Minnesota

Area law enforcement investigators have arrested 6 suspects in a juvenile prostitution

sting investigation, which took place in Madison Lake on Saturday, September 30th.

Law Enforcement used the internet to pose as prostitutes where the 6 suspects agreed
to buy sex for money or narcotics. The names, ages and photographs will be made
available once the 6 suspects have been charged by formal complaint

One individual fled during the operation who we are working to identify; which could
bring the total up to seven arrested.

105 individuals have been arrested since November 2014 for prostitution related
arrests in Nicollet, Brown & Blue Earth Counties. This problem is a statewide issue and
we are attempting to address it in our local communities.

These investigations are made possible by grants from the Womens Foundation of
Minnesota and the Office of Justice Programs.

During this operation, we received calls and text messages from over 150
different individuals from posting one ad online. We are continuing to try to get
the message out that Minnesota girls are not for sale in southern Minnesota.
