Teaching Strategies

Modeling: I will act as a model for the children by picking up a

flower and placing it into the correct coloured bin. I will pick up a
blue flower and say, what colour is this? When the children
respond blue I will then say, okay so I will place this into the blue
bin!

Telling, explaining and informing: I will explain to the children

what the experience will entail through simple sentences and
instructions. For example: we will be sorting our beautiful flowers
and putting them in the bin that is the same colour as the flower!
