Economic Issue: Unemployment Rate

Economic Goal: Full Employment

Current Situation: Number of jobless up by 300,000

According to the latest SWS survey, the number of jobless Filipinos increases up

by 300,000. The SWS, which interviewed 1,200 Filipinos aged 18 years and above,

defines joblessness based on two factors: having no job at the present and looking for a

job. This definition excludes housewives, retirees, students and persons without

disabilities who are not seeking employment. Of those who said they were jobless, two

percent said they were laid off, six percent had contracts that were not renewed, one

percent terminated because their company closed, 13 percent voluntarily left and four

percent never worked before.

Solution:

As the number of jobless increases, the government should also increase the

number of jobs. They can do that by having a transparency in the government.

Transparency is a sign of good governance. And good governance can attract more

foreign investors here in the Philippines. This will make way in creating new jobs that

many jobless Filipinos will surely benefit. And when many Filipinos can get a job, it will

surely reflect in our employment rate that will also help for our economic growth.
Economic Issue: Inflation

Economic Goal: Price Level Stability

Current Situation: Price of fuel drops

Because of low demand and stable supply, the price of fuel decreases. Many oil

companies like Petron decrease their prices for these five straight weeks. Including the

price movements this week, the year-to-date total adjustments stand at a net decrease

of P2.95 per liter for diesel and about P2.35 per liter for gasoline. Asian market reports

said global crude prices fell over the past week amid sufficient oil exports from Ukraine

and the Middle East despite political and sectarian tensions. The recent downtrend in

fuel prices in general may also indicate weaker demand for crude, which tends to follow

economic growth trends.

Solution:

As it has good effect on many Filipinos, much more to the drivers of vehicles, it is

a good sign of price stability. It only goes back to its original price. We are sure that as

the price of the fuel goes down, the fair in public utility vehicles will also decrease, that

is an advantage for the passengers. But for the companies, if the price decreases even

low, they are in the disadvantage. So if that happen, the government must implement

price floor to protect them from further risk.

Economic Issue: Unemployment

Economic Goal: Full Employment

Current Situation: 14,000 teachers from state schools to benefit from P1.3-B proposed

budget

Teachers from state schools could benefit from P1.3-B proposed budget. In a

press conference, Pasig City Rep. Roman Romulo said this is the first time since 2010

that the DBM set aside a budget for the salary upgrades especially as some SUCs only

funded salary upgrades through their own savings. Romulo said this is in implementing

the DBMs June 1998 National Budget Circular that seeks to prescribe rules and

regulations in implementing the revised compensation and position classification plan

for faculties in SUCs.

Solution:

As they will increase the salaries of the teachers, it may create employment.

Many jobless will get a degree in education and want to be a teacher. It may create

many possibilities. But for now, we are sure that many teachers will benefit from this

budget. As becoming a teacher is a noble profession.

1. The nasal cavity conditions the air to be received by the other areas of the respiratory tract.
2. The function of the pharynx is to transfer food from the mouth to the esophagus and to warm, moisten and filter air before it moves into the
trachea.
3. The larynx is a muscular and cartilaginous structure that holds the vocal cords. This body organ is used by human beings to
breathe, talk and swallow
4. to allow air passage to your lungs for respiration i.e. to breathe in air rich in oxygen and exhale carbon
dioxide. it also helps in protection from microbes and harmful substances. prevents respiratory failures
and choking This enhances the humidifying and warming of the air that enters the lungs.
5.lungs - to transport oxygen from the atmosphere into the bloodstream, and to release carbon dioxide
from the bloodstream into the atmosphere.
6. bronchi is to permit air to pass through it
7. The main function of the alveoli is storage of air for a shorter period which permits absorption of oxygen into the blood. The
gaseous exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide typically takes place in the alveoli.
8. The bronchi, or bronchus is where the air entering the lungs are sent to each lung. The bronchioles are smaller airways that send
the air on to the inside walls of the lungs where the alveolia allow the oxygen to be absorbed by the blood cells and oxegenate the
blood for transfer throughout the body.
