    Uber statement on incident of alleged kidnapping

    I have checked in with our incident response team (IRT) to get an update - they have been
    working on this as a priority (since we received the report).
    Our incident response team has reached out to the person who reported this to us and we are
    busy setting up a time for our local GM to speak with them directly.

    The driver-partner is registered to use the Uber app, but he was not on a trip at the time of
    this incident.
    Our comment is below should you need.

    "There is no excuse for the acts described, the drivers access to our app has been removed
    pending a full investigation.
