Non-flame proof pumps are supplied with a current operated

earth leakage circuit breaker which detects any imbalance
between the phases.

FEEDTHROUGHS enable simple cable connection without

All fasteners and shafts are made from

stainless steel.

BEARINGS generously oversized to give

extended life when pumping high specific
gravity slurries.

MOTOR ENCLOSURE Non-flame proof 100 mm

pumps are oil filled to assist with heat dissipation,
lubrication of bearings and mechanical seal faces.

MECHANICAL SEAL all submergence pressures (not pump

discharge pressure as are most other submersibles). Positioned
directly below the bearing gives maximum support and protection
against shaft deflection.

MOTOR HOUSING utilises the pumped media to assist in

dissipating heat build-up in the motor windings, permitting
continuous operation during snore or non-submergence conditions.

TWIN VOLUTE construction designed to balance all the

opposing hydraulic forces in the pump casing, optimising the life
of the cantilevered shaft and its components.

IMPELLER CLEARANCE is adjustable for wear by use of steel

spacers.

EXTERNAL AGITATOR breaks down and re-suspends

compacted solids, assisting the pump to transfer a high percentage
of solids rather than surface water.

METALLURGY casing, impeller and wear plates are

manufactured from iron alloys capable of giving excellent wear
life when handling abrasive slurries.

The selection chart should be used as a basic guide only.

It indicates the range and quantity of flow and head available from Warman pumps with standard impellers. It can also, however, be used to obtain a preliminary pump selection
providing the user is able to estimate the quantity of slurry to be pumped and the developed head required. Note: selection chart performance based on clear water.
