support others in the process, and we established and officially registered our association. Since then we conducted
several projects related to our scope, alone and in cooperation with other local and international associations with the
same goals. All founders are the parents of children treated with cancer. We use social networks to appeal and
gather people to help our cause. Our Facebook page is: www.facebook.com/pages/Pomozimo-Deci-Oboleloj-Od-Bilo-

1) SUMMER CAMP WE CAN DO EVERYTHING! 2014 - One of the contemporary methods to help these children
cope with this difficult disease and overcome it, including its consequences, is camp programs, specifically
designed and tailored to their needs. Camp provides common and extraordinary recreation as well as learning
useful skills for dealing with the many issues arising from the treatment. Management Board of ika Boca
Association is committed to this need and conducting yearly summer and winter camps for children aged 7 to 18
years old and parents unaccompanied. First camp was successfully held in July 2013 on mountain Zlatibor in
Serbia, gathering around 38 children in remission and 15 volunteers.
2) INTERNET RADIO MLADICE (www.radio-mladice.rs) - Since May 2012 we have gathered young people treated for
malignancy (usually called survivors in other countries), aged 15 to 30, to facilitate their need for fellowship
organisation into informal group and they came out with the organisation name for all Youth treated with cancer
MladiCe (Mladi - Youth, Ce - (C) in the disease codebook label for cancer). They have started the Project Internet
th
Radio MladiCe, which began broadcasting on the September 29 2012. These young people use this media to
talk about their experiences and share that experience to the others through personal example helping those
who are currently in treatment. The project is aimed also at inclusion and socialization of treated children and
their psychological empowerment. The main idea of radio is a young peoples need to be heard and their
opinions considered and discussed on various topics from environment they live in. ICCCPO recognized Radio
MladiCe as successful project enabling gathering of survivors, and was presented at their Congress in May 2013
in Basel. One of donors for Internet Radio MladiCe project is also Ministry for Youth and Sports of Republic of
