Project Coordination

Functional expertise in Project planning, Resource deployment and Team management and credential of
successfully completing 3G projects for a Nokia (Airtel-Node B) Huawei BTS312, BTS3012 and NodeB
BTS3900. RTN 905 and RTN950 installation commissioning FOR TELENOR PROJECT. IBS project for RJIL

Ensuring execution of preventive maintenance including schedules / shutdown maintenance to ensure trouble
free and seamless operations.
Effectuating predictive, preventive & breakdown maintenance schedules of assets; conducting periodic checks
to ensure performance of various equipments.
Preparing various project reports for identifying areas of obstruction / defects, conducting troubleshooting,
service and repair to rectify the equipments.
Installation supervision, Testing, Operations and Maintenance of Optical Fiber Cable and Optical fiber
Transmission systems and its NMS ( Huawei and Siemens equipments).
Installation supervision, Testing, Operations and Maintenance of Optical Fiber Access Network, its nodes
ONUs, OLTs and NMS .

Transmission Engineer (wire line & wireless media)

Capacity up gradation of links from STM-1 (or STM-4) to STM-4 (or STM-16).& STM-16 to STM-64 & Insert
new Network Elements in exists rings onto NMS.
Detection of faults in transmission network by monitoring through NMS and by co-ordination with OMC-
R department.
 Handing-over the services to the end customers by provisioning, configuring and testing the bandwidth

Coordinating with fiber team for fiber related activities through LASER SOURCE, POWERMETER & OTDR .
Software up gradation of Network elements.
Ring Closure, PDH to SDH Conversion.
Migration of sites from BSC to BSC & 2G to 3G & FNP to FNP

SDH Engineer
Working as an Transmission Engineer ( for Vodafone GSM Project in MNG)and during my job in Huawei
Telecommunications India Pvt Ltd. I achieved the following milestones.

Microwave Installation & Commissioning. I have an experience in NEC ,HUAWEI & CERAGON Microwave
product. I have done LOS survey.

Responsibility in BSS/RAN NOC:

Maintaining daily service and outage report ( DSR)
Generation of trouble tickets.
Voice calls failure reason analysis i.e. Cell Interruption
Managing escalations related to External Alarms & Outage and taking reasons from field engineers.
Perform the outage escalation level wise i.e. From Site Engineer to CIRCLE HEAD.
Handled the work of Alarm monitoring ( AM) and Fault management ( FM)
Closure of tickets within SLA.
Monitoring of BTS BSC alarms both in 2G and 3G
Sound knowledge on 4G-LTE, VoIP networks.
Hands-on experience in providing NOC operations

Alarm surveillance and first level troubleshooting of Alarms in core network.
Raising trouble ticket for leased line outages.

Monitoring alarms in U2000 for RAN, Transmission, EPC & Datacom/MPLS domains in LTE network;
Fetching hourly VoIP CDR data and checking for potential fraud calls to green or grey destinations.
Fetching and checking data such as LTE network-wide interference, paging rates, cell/sector utilization, time-based
trend of maximum and average counts of users from i-Manager PRS.
Fetching and checking LTE CPE data (current and historic) relating to coverage levels, from Worksys OneMS CPE
Manager & SPU.
 Checking for WiMAX CPE device sessions in NetOP PM.
Accessing sites via Secure CRT for checking sector status, modem status, camped user count and giving soft reboots
to sectors or sites based on requirement.
Checking pdp session for devices in LMT(UGW).
Checking subscriber package information and assigning or removing static IPs as per requirement in LMT(PGW).

Operations & Maintenance

Installation, Commissioning of NSN 2G and 3G BTS (Ultra, Flexi) Huawei BTS312, BTS3012 and
NodeB BTS3900. Ericsson BTS(RBS2206,2204,2202,6201,6101)

Alarm monitoring of BSS network elements and take corrective action

Troubleshooting all the issues & problems in instrumentation & controls of machines
