I. Extent of Participation of Teachers in Decision-Making.
There were times when we hesitate to implement decisions made by only few people or by the
administrators himself because we somehow disagree with it. After a lot of complains or even if we are
complaining, we end up obeying it however at times results may not be satisfying enough because we somehow
are motivated with the thought that if we are the one who will implement it then we should have voice on the
decision-making process. According to Guthrie (1986), true school reform will only be sustained through the
involvement of all school staff.

During the decision-making process, we are often faced different problems that hinders the success of its
formulation and implementation. Therefore we need to be aware of these challenges in a way that we could be
able address them at hand.
