Goals
If you wish to help, you can make suggestions on information you feel is missing, or you could
select something from this list and add that as changes.
Goal 1 Add Tactics details: good combinations of troops to use on those and tactics to
apply for each map.

Goal 2 Add Troops details: Fill out stats of each unit. Later: How to effectively use each
troop available in the game, which weapon to have them equipped with, the use of
their skills.

Goal 3 Edit map images to have Base Recruit Site, Marshals and Strategic Points
locations. PLSPLSPLS I dont know all the locations from heart.
Basic Combat
How to:
Stun: press Q
Charge: double-tap W
Parry(Parry weapons only): Click right mouse button.
Block(Melee weapons): Move mouse in block direction and hold right mouse button.
Combo: Click Left mouse button, at the moment the strike ends, click again. The biggest
combo is 3 clicks. The 3rd attack will be a double strike.
Neutralize: Hit simultaneously from opposite side of the enemys attack.
He hits from his left, you hit from your left.
Neither your nor their attack deals damage.
Counter: Hit slightly after the opponent from same side of the enemys attack.
He hits from his left, you hit from your right.
Their attack deals no damage, yours deals some damage.

Combat Tips:
- Stun followed by charge is an excellent way to knock down an opponent.
- When fighting 1 against 2, equip a shield and a fast weapon. Or a parry weapon.
- When fighting 1 against 3, run away.
- When fighting 2 against 1, get close enough and use stun. Your ally can hit him while he
cant move.
- When fighting 2 against 1, charge swiftly after each other from two sides.
- Get as close as possible to opponents who use long (2.00+ Weapon Length) weapons,
Stay as far as possible from opponents with short weapons.
- If you are faster moving than your opponent, you decide how close or far to be.
- If you are slower moving than your opponent, you have to change your weapons
depending on the range they choose to engage at.

Weapons:
Each weapon has 1 or 2 attack sets, and each attack set deals a specific type of damage.

The damage types are Piercing, Slashing and Blunt damage:

- Piercing Damage: strong against Cloth, average against Metal and weak against
Leather.
- Slashing Damage: strong against Leather, average against Cloth and weak against
Metal.
- Blunt Damage: strong against Metal, average against Leather and weak against Cloth.

Attack Set Examples:

- Iron Shovel(*) =
(Left/Right attacks only, they deal blunt damage, only 1 attack set)

- Zhongyuan Glaive(**) = and

(Left/Right/High attacks that deal slashing damage, and Low attack piercing damage, 2 attack
sets.)

Armour:
Each Armour has a set of coverage areas and each coverage area has an armour type.

Coverage areas are: Head, Shoulders, Upper Arms, Lower Arms, Chest, Stomach, Waist, Upper
Legs, Lower Legs.

The armour types are Cloth, Leather and Metal:

- Cloth Armour: strong against Blunt, average against Slash, weak against Pierce.
- Leather Armour: strong against Pierce, average against Blunt, weak against Slash.
- Metal Armour: strong against Slash, average against Pierce, weak against Blunt.
Commanding Troops
How To:
Switch between Formation and Engage-within-radius: ~
Units stay near your current location: F1
Units follow you: F2
Units move towards enemy camp and engage enemies on the way: F3
Cycle between formations: F4 (cycles through available formations)
Troop Skills: F5-F8
Morale Skill: F9

Command Tips:
- Units in formation mode will only attack enemies within their melee range. You have to
ensure that enemies are close enough.
- Formation or Engage-within-radius still applies in F1-F3 modes. F3 on Radius means they
attack anyone within the radius (the one you normally see; it moves with the soldiers invisibly)
and F3 on Formation means they only attack those near the formation.
- Formations boost and debuff certain stats like damage, defense, attack speed, shooting
speed, etc.
- Adjutants determine which formations are available. Make sure you equip an a troop with
an Adjutant with useful formations for that troop.
- Use of Troop Skills is crucial for the usefulness of your soldiers.
- Use your Morale Skill whenever you are in active combat.

Strategy

Siege

In General
In the grand strategy of unit selection and how to play, there are a lot of things that depend on the
situation. However, there are still a few things that give a higher win chance in any match.

- Keep your army balanced. Make sure you have 1 Anti-Cav, and make sure you have a
mix of leather and metal armour infantry as well as a mix of damage types (blunt/slash
mostly). Even on non-cav maps, the opponent might pick a cavalry unit, and anti-cav
can still be useful in infantry combat if they dont.
- Cavalry is useless, Ranged Cavalry is even more useless.
