By offering puja and praise to the presence of Allah SWT who bestows
blessings and grace so that PRAKERIN conducted on June 27, 2011 - 30
September 2011 can be summed up well.

The report is prepared based on data that the author obtained during the
implementation PRAKERIN. This report is prepared as one of the
requirements to take the final exam (UN). The author realizes that this
report is still far from perfect, therefore all criticism and suggestions
from all parties for the sake of further perfection authors always
expect.

CHAPTER I

PRELIMINARY

1.1 BACKGROUND

As the authors know that every Vocational High School student who stepped
on grade XI before taking the final exam must first follow the Industrial
Practice (PRAKERIN).

In the implementation of this Prakerin between class one with another

usually differentiated time and date. This is because education or
different jobs, besides as a requirement to follow UAN also aims that
students after receiving education in school can practice work in
institutions / DU / DI which has been selected or appointed school.

In connection with the above, the authors implement Prakerin in the

workshop '' P.O. CV. HARUM PERKASA '' Rancabango, Tasikmalaya. Starting
June 27, 2011 through September 30, 2011.

COMPANY PROFILE

2.1 COMPANY HISTORY

PO HARUM First established in 1958 under the name of HARUM

company, which has 2 units of Cehrolet brand car with type Supriyor under
the leadership of H. Otong Hasan in 1973, developed into 20 units of
vehicles that first stand in the village Buniseuri kec. Ciamis West Java.
In 1974 moved to Ciamis City Jl. Zendral Sudirman.

So PO HARUM opened a branch where which of them are:

Based on Prakerin's report as presented in the front, the

writer can draw the following conclusion:

Industrial work practice (PRAKERIN) is very useful for students.

Science, experience and expanding automotive insight

In the world of work.

Industrial work practice (PRAKERIN) can foster mental readiness

To enter the real world of work.

Hydraulic tromol brakes use brake fluid as an intermediary

To continue the pressure from the brake pedal to the brake canvas inside
the tromol.

Hydraulic tromol brake components consist of tromol, brake canvas,

Cylinder wheel, master cylinder, reservoir, brake fluid pipe

and brake pedal.

How the hydraulic tromol brake works: When the brake pedal is stepped
on

A certain pressure then brake fluid will continue the pressure

Cylinder wheel, next piston cylinder wheel expands

And pressing the brake canvas. Pressure brake canvas is about
