Hace un par de aos atrs, en medio de un da de trabajo muy fuerte, estando en medio de una

reunin con un cliente importante para la organizacin, donde se estbamos definiendo el alcance
de un proyecto, no logrbamos conciliar sobre el diseo de la estructura ya que tenamos posiciones
diferentes frente al tema.

Estando en medio de esta reunin, empezaron a entrar llamadas de mi jefe, de manera insistente,
las cuales no pude atender en el momento y decid continuar con la reunin, la cual se extendi
hasta el final de la tarde cuando se definieron algunas tareas para la prxima reunin.

Al salir de la reunin nos quedamos revisando las tareas con un compaero y definiendo de qu
manera las bamos a trabajar; en ese mismo instante mi jefe segua insistiendo al telfono y no
alcance a responder, cuando finalizamos la charla e bamos caminando hacia la oficina con mi
compaero, con la llamada del jefe al telfono, hice un comentario algo fuerte, en vista de tanta
insistencia de mi jefe al telfono, el comentario fue este man s que cansa, que intensidad.

Con tan mala suerte que mi jefe estaba a mis espaldas, lo cual no haba notado y obviamente l
escucho el mal comentario que hice sobre la cantidad de llamadas recibidas de su parte. Al escuchar
su voz quede de una sola pieza, no saba que decir, lo nico que pude hacer fue ponerme a reir.
Una risa nerviosa la verdad.

Luego de brindar las explicaciones y el por qu no poda atender sus llamadas y aclarar la situacin
que se present, todo quedo en buenos trminos, pero definitivamente deb ser ms precavida en
mis comentarios.

A couple of years ago, in a very hard day of work, some of my colleagues and I were in the middle
of a meeting with a very important client for our corporation. We were defining the scope of a
project, but we could not agree on the design of the structure because we had different opinions
on the matter.

During the meeting, my boss began to call me insistently, but I was unable to attend at the time
and I decided to continue with the meeting, which lasted until the end of the afternoon. Then,
some tasks were defined for the next meeting.

When the meeting was over, we were reviewing the tasks with a partner and defining how we
were going to work when my boss kept insisting on the phone and I still did not answer it. As we
finished talking, and walked to the office with my partner, my boss called me once more! I was so
annoyed by his insistence that I told my partner "Wow, this guy is so exasperating".

I was so unlucky that when I made that remark, my boss was standing behind me. I had obviously
not noticed, so he heard what I said about him. Listening to his voice was like a cold shower to
me! I didnt know what to say, all I could do was laughing... A nervous laughter, to be honest.

After giving him an explanation about why I could not answer his calls due to my meeting,
everything was on good terms with him, but I should have seen that coming and should have been
careful with my comments.
