Robert Becker, Kirkwood MO

This year marks my 25th year on the job, and I have yet to think of it as a job. The end of each day finds me both exhausted
and rejuvenated, simultaneously elated and frustrated. Teaching is the one profession in which nothing changes and
everything changes. No promotions on the horizon, but never a dull moment. The long term plan is just to get better and
better at what we do. Above all else, teaching is a very humbling career, and I'm proud to be a part of it!

Element Anagrams, a puzzle

Each of the following twelve clues is intended to elicit a specific two-word response. The number of letters in each word is indicated by
the number of spaces. Each response is also an anagram of one of the elements of the periodic table.

For example if the clue were bookish swine __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __, then the response would be nerdy hog, which is an anagram
for thats right, hydrogen!

If you need some help, you may sneak a peek at the short list below. It is the list of the twelve elements though not in puzzle order.
Even with this short list, the puzzle is still quite a challenge.

1. Greetings, horse-donkey hybrid. __ __ __ __ __ __
