PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY IN FACING ASEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY

Ladies and Gentleman

First of all, let us convey our gratitude and praise to God, because he has given us health,
opportunity, and happiness today. Then, let us greet and pray to our beloved Prophet Muhammad
SAW who bring us to the path of light and leave the darkness in this life.

Let me introduce myself Well my name Dhea Yolanda Septiany from SMAN 2 CIKARANG SELATAN .
Here I will deliver my speech about AEC or ASEAN Economic Community and how my personal
strategy to face AEC.

Indonesia is third mostly poor country in the world, and it means we are loose than other country in
south asean instead of we will face AEC soon.

What is AEC? In my own understanding AEC is an agreement among countries to increase

the economic and to strength the marketing. This year is the beginning of AEC in Indonesia.

What is the aim of AEC? The aim of AEC is to enhance the progress and development in the
economy with a hope the economy of ASEAN country will be increase.

Actually world economic forum stated that Indonesia in 38th rank among 52nd state . The minister of
cooperation and UKM also stated that the preparation to face of AEC has reached 70%. Instead
Indonesia has done some strategic efforts. One of them is making National Committee for preparing
AEC 2015/2016. It shows that Indonesia has been ready to face AEC this year. But there are some
that must be paid attention and improved.

And human resource is the most paid attention. Because our human resource is not ready to
compare with anoter state. data in 2013 found 3,6 milion indonesian in productive age are iliterate.
The main cause is high dropout result in basic education. These are sadly fact to be considered for us
the indonesian generation, because we don`t want to be servant in our own country.
Ladies and gentelmen

People have to be change for they own succesful. Like a transformer, they transform theirself to live
in earth which is have diferent condition with their real planet in crypton. They transform their
shape and addapt with the earth condition. That is our turn today to transform ourself. Especialy our
personality to face AEC. Follows are my personal stategies to face AEC

1. FIRST Education
Education will help us develop our skills and give us stable and happy life. A good
education is a complete system which is not only build our intelegence but also our
character. So all the process will shape balance personality which is suitable with AEC
demand.

2. SECOND LANGUAGE learning

Language is a key to open closed opportunity. When advanced in one foreign language
we will have more opportunity to get the job from the company which have foreign
leader. By language learning we can see the world as a fair place with equal
opportunities for everyone. Not only english we also have to keen on another asean
language like korea. And now META industry provide us korean class as one of it`s
concern to faced AEC.

3. Third character
Character is one strong influnce in our life journey. Many of us forget to achieve ourself
with good character. Our manner, politnes, discipline and behaviour include to character.
Warren buffet the richest inverstor in the world stated that we don`t have to be
smarter than our rest, We have to be more discipline than our rest means Intelegent
wil be vain and won`t make you achieve succes without good manner, behaviour and
discipline.

4. Fourth eficient
Eficiency is a key to help us become manager for ourself. Because time is valuable. Even
we can`t turn back the time. price the time as high as we can.
 5. Fifth Self dependent
Become self dependent person will help us to financially independent. It will make us
wiser on make our personal decision.

6. Sixth Turns your dreams into reality

What is your dream, you aim in life? Rich, popular, sucessfull, respected. All of your
dream will bring positive energy if you try to make it happen with real work. Like the Bob
sadino who able to change his life only with dream and hard work.

7. Seventh be a Literacy lovers

Australia, USA, and Japan are few countries with high literacy rates. These countries are
extremely prosperoeus and the citizens have a high percapita income. In our country
where literacy love not as high, number of people are still living under poverty line. We
can conclude that literacy have big influnce on human resource, so lets think like
american they never have a time to talking about someone`s weaknes but they always
have atime to read.

8. The last one is Confident

Although our condition under of the demand we have to be confident. Follow the rules
and recognize ourself as well as we can. The unconfident feeling will only trap us like the
turtle in it`s shell.

sucesfull is in our hand, the due time to AEC is urgent. No opportunity for the stagnant
person. We already have to make change. So we will strong as bamboos tree, they have
extremely strong roots and they stiil stand although the wind blow`s hard.

That all A few of my speech about my personal strategies to face AEC. AEC happen for a reason.
That reason causes change. Sometimes the change is hard, but in the end it`s for the best and I hope
in 2020 Indonesia become the developed country with maximum works from us, the indoesian
