Thisistheprojectthatwehavebeenbuildingtothroughoutthecourse.IntheProjectProposal,you
iden edaproblemorissueinyourcommunitythatneedsa en onandproposedtoresearchthat
problemorissue.IntheAnnotatedBibliography,youconductedresearchonyourtopicandcollatedthat
researchinasingledocument.InthePersuasiveResearchProject,youwilldrawuponyourwri ngand
thinkingtorecommendacourseofac onbasedonyourresearch.

Thisassignmentwillaskyoutoprepareandpresentyouroverallresearchprojecttoanaudiencethathas
theabilitytodosomethingaboutthisproblemorissue.Inordertodothis,then,youwillneedtodecide
whothataudienceis,andhowyoucanbestaddresstheminthisproject.

RequirementsandDeliverables

1. YourPersuasiveResearchProjectmustprovidethebackgroundandneedfortheresearchthat
youconducted.Youcandrawfromyourprojectproposaltodescribetheprojectsexigency,
stakeholders,andaudience.
2. Youshouldar culateacontrollingpurposeearlyintheproject.Inotherwords,yourreaders
needtounderstandwhatyouaretryingtoaccomplishintheproject.Areyoutryingtoconvince
