Contribution

1. The dissertation has investigated an improved of performance based on maximum overshoot

from 58.5% for conventional PSS to 8% for fuzzy based Speed PSS(Omega-PSS) using single
machine infinite bus system
2. In term of settling time fuzzy based power input power system Stabilizer (PPSS) has contributed
a better result with reduction of time from 1.21second to 0.94 second
3. Based on nine bus multi-machine system , the fuzzy based Omega-PSS has achieved a settling
time of 1 second compared to Conventional PSS that settled at around 9 seconds
