Cactus, Cactus, Cactus Crochet Pattern by Flo and Dot

You will need:

For the small cactus:


3mm crochet hook (or the size appropriate for your yarn/tension)
1 50gm ball 4 ply green cotton yarn (I use DMC Natura Just Cotton or Petra 3)

Finished size: Approximately 8cm by 8cm

For the medium cactus:


3.5/4mm crochet hook (or the size appropriate for your yarn/tension)
2 50gm balls DK green cotton yarn (I use Sirdar Simply Recycled or Drops Cotton Light)

Finished size: Approximately 19cm by 19cm

For the large cactus:


5mm crochet hook (or the size appropriate for your yarn/tension)
5 50gm balls Aran green cotton yarn (I use Drops Paris or Drops Love You 5)

Finished size: Approximately 38cm by 38cm

Polyester filling
Keyring

This pattern is written in UK terms:


ch - chain
st - stitch
dc - double crochet
dec - decrease (dc two together)
sl st - slip stitch

Small Cactus (make two)

Ch 9
Row 1 Dc 1 in second chain from hook, dc in each ch to end, ch 1, turn (8)

To finish
Place the two pieces together and sew together using a length of yarn, remember to lightly stuff the
cactus before you fasten off. If making a keyring attach this with a few extra stitches at the top.
Weave in any ends.

Place two pieces together, sew or slip stitch the front and back together using a length of yarn (I
used sl st and then turned the cactus inside out so the stitches were on the inside), remember to
stuff the cactus before you fasten off. Weave in any ends.
