Associate Professor James Dudley
BDS (Adelaide) , Masters in Health Services Management (Monash), DClinDent (Adelaide)

James is the Program Director of the Specialist Postgraduate Prosthodontics Program, Disci-
pline Head of Fixed Prosthodontics, Discipline Head of Implantology, Clinical Tutor, and Restor-
ative Dentistry Group Leader.completed his general dental degree in 1996, a management
degree in 2005, and Specialist Prosthodontics training at The University of Adelaide in 2008.He
has been awarded Fellowship of the International College of Dentists, Fellowship of the Pierre
Fauchard Academy and is a member of the of the Education and Research Committee of
the International College of Prosthodontists. He is a Convener for the Australian Dental Council
He has a keen research interest in implantology, fixed prosthodontics and dental education in
prosthodontics.

Capt. (R) Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohd Haikal Muhamad Halil

BDS (Malaya), MClinDent (Malaya)

Dr. Mohd Haikal Muhamad Halil is the Head of Department of Restorative Dentistry at the
Kulliyyah of Dentistry, International Islamic University Malaysia.
He completed his Masters in Clinical Dentistry form Universiti Malaya in 2014. Dr. Mohd
Haikal is an active member in both local and international dental associations. Teaching has
always been his passion and he has a keen interest in training dentists in restorative dentistry.
His major interest include dental material sciences, endodontology and implantology.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhamad Sharifuddin Mat Daud

BDS (Malaya) DClinDent (Endodontics) (Otago)

Dr Sharifuddin obtained his Masters in Endodontics from Otago University, New Zealand in
2015 currently serving IIUM as Head of Endodontics Unit
He has a deep interest in both teaching and private practice. Operating an endodontic proce-
dure under microscope has been his preference especially when dealing with complicated
and challenging endodontic therapy e.g obstructed canal.
Dr Sharifuddin is highly enthusiastic in providing a good and safe dental treatment to his pa-
tients. He has dealt with teeth with poor prognosis which have remarkable results.

Dr. Musliana Mustaffa

DDS (UKM), DClinDent (Endodontics) (Sheffield)

Dr Musliana Mustaffa received her DDS from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2006 and gradu-
ated with DClinDent in Endodontics from University of Sheffield in 2016.She joined Kulliyyah of
Dentistry, International Islamic University Malaysia as a trainee lecturer in 2010 and currently
working as an endodontic lecturer since 2016.

Her research interests include agitation of root canal irrigants and its role in periapical healing,
outcome study of root canal treatment and comparative study in 3 dimensional obturation tech-
niques.

Asst Prof Dr Chu Seng Boon

DDS (USM), MClinDent (Prosthodontics) (Kings College London)

Dr Chu Seng Boon graduated his DDS from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2009 and completed his
MClinDent in Prosthodontics from Kings College London in 2015. He joined Kulliyyah of Dentis-
try, International Islamic University Malaysia in 2011 as trainee lecturer and is currently a pros-
thodontic lecturer and Head of Implantology Unit in KOD, IIUM.
Dr Chu Seng Boon is a member of Prosthodontics, Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh), Inter-
national College of Prosthodontics and Malaysian Dental Association. Besides that, he actively
involved in various courses and his area of interest includes fixed and removable prosthodon-
tics, implantology, occlusion and dental material sciences.
